Nutrition in 15 Words
One of the more common questions we get in the gym is “what should I eat?”. This is a pretty broad question, but for most of us, the answer is pretty simple.
Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar.

Another way to put it … eat real food, not too much, mostly plants.
Where Do I Start?
If you are just getting started we actually recommend first focusing on the quality of your food. An easy way to do this is just get rid of junk food (pop, chips, etc.).
Another way to think about it is to purchase food from the perimeter of the grocery store and avoiding the food in the middle aisles (which does not go bad as it is full of preservatives or has had most of its nutrients processed away).
Nutrition is a major aspect of what we do, no matter what your goals are.
